Jacob Tremblay may be a celebrated actor, but he’s still an 11-year-old with an 11-year-old’s culinary palate.

So when we spoke with the Wonder star during a Crest #ChooseSmiles campaign interview, we just had to ask: What the heck can we make for dinner that our kids will actually like? He rattled off his top five foods in seven seconds flat (we counted).

Here, five Tremblay-approved dishes that will put megawatt smiles on your brood’s little faces.

1. SUSHI

We bet he’s been using chopsticks sans rubber bands for longer than we’ve been slightly OK with masago. If your progeny isn’t a sushi aficionado like Tremblay, try drawing them in with these adorable (and handheld) veggie sushi cups.

2. PIZZA

If you’ve ever met a child, this one makes sense. Pro tip: Sneak some grilled artichoke, lemon and ricotta onto a flatbread pizza to make it not just delicious but also (semi) nutritious.

3. CHEESEBURGERS

There’s a reason McDonald’s calls its kids’ meal a Happy Meal. If you’re feeling adventurous, go for a fresh spin on the classic and grill up a nom-licious French-onion-soup burger instead.

4. DUCK CONFIT POUTINE

Tremblay, a native Canadian, says this is his all-time favorite food and we’re just as dumbfounded as you are. His biggest selling point? The Wonder star says, “It’s easy to make…It’s [just] cheese curds, gravy and french fries.”

What can we say? The kid’s got taste buds that match his refined acting chops.

5. HOT DOGS

Push the bun boundaries and add a Chicago twist to your kid’s hot dog…because ketchup and mustard are so third grade.
